Since I took over as Managing Director in 2006 we have gradually modernised the company as we transition into a fourth generation of Swan family leadership.
The Company now comprises three commercial divisions: Performance Chemicals, Custom Manufacture and Advanced Materials, each led by a Commercial Director.

Further to our initial announcement on October 19th 2012, we need now to reiterate that Thomas Swan and Co. Ltd. has withdrawn all North American distribution rights to PCMX products made within our UK production facility from all third parties, with the exception of our subsidiary company, Swan Chemical Inc.

Thomas Swan Announces New Commercial Director – Advanced Materials

Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd. announced today that it has appointed Dr Andy Goodwin as Commercial Director for its Advanced Materials Division. Dr Goodwin will join Thomas Swan on 20th August this year and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Consett, UK.

Dr Goodwin joins Thomas Swan from Dow Corning Corporation where he recently held the position of Global Science & Technology Manager – Solar Materials in the USA.
